SOQO Clothing was born from a lifelong passion for fashion and a vision to bring something truly unique to the modern wardrobe.
Our founder’s journey began in 2003 with Cristallo Moda, a boutique in Greenwich and later Camberwell, offering premium labels such as Gucci, Versace, Cavalli, Hugo Boss and Ferragamo. For more than a decade, Cristallo Moda introduced customers to refined European tailoring—until the rise of fast-fashion chains and the credit crunch forced its doors closed in 2016.
But a true love for style never fades. While travelling across Africa, our founder discovered an opportunity that would spark a new chapter: combining the rich patterns and prints of Heritage tribal textiles—Ankara, Adire, Aso-Oke and beyond—with the clean silhouettes of classic Western tailoring. The first experiment was simple yet striking: a pair of tailored trousers cut from Tribal fabric, paired with a crisp white shirt and loafers. The pieces sold out instantly, proving there was a hunger for a brand that celebrated both Heritage tradition and modernity.
That idea became the brand SOQO —a name inspired by a childhood nickname, symbolising authenticity and personal history. Today, we create premium garments that fuse Western design and style with tribal Heritage artistry. From signature T-shirts adorned with subtle tribal symbolism to smart-casual essentials, every piece is designed to stand out while remaining versatile.

Craftsmanship & Quality
SOQO garments are currently produced in Istanbul, Turkey, in partnership with skilled manufacturers discovered at the IFCO exhibition. We chose Turkey for its impeccable craftsmanship, ethical standards and world-class fabrics—ensuring every item feels as good as it looks. Most of our pieces are made from quality premium fabrics, offering softness, breathability and a perfect fit.
